Events are how Brown Dust 2 adds costumes without waiting for a numbered story pack. They expire. That is the whole warning. This page tracks the current window and the habits that keep you from discovering a shop on the last hour. Live: Chained Soldier 2 collab (September 2026)
On 10 September 2026 the global client opened a collab with the anime Chained Soldier 2 (魔都精兵の奴隷 2 / Mato Seihei no Slave Season 2). Playable costumes include Kyouka (羽前京香), Tenka (出雲天花), and Ren (山城戀). One costume was announced as a free login gift for the collab; the others sit on time-limited banners and shops. If you want the kits, treat them like any limited: plus only if your support jobs are already funded.
The matching season event is Eternal Chains, scheduled through 23 September 2026, then Time to Submit through 8 October 2026. New fiends include a light Ancient Undead Miner (tight-range multi-hit that resets target cooldowns) and a follow-up mine spirit. Full costume calendar — free Kyouka, Tenka banner, Ren on 24 September — sits on the Chained Soldier 2 page. Use the PvE tier list, Fiend Hunter, and combat; collab fiends still use chains and weak points.
The collab story pack sits after Story Pack 20 and before Manager Pack 1 on the shelf. You can play it without catching every main-plot spoiler, but you still need a five-person squad that can fight. New Masters: finish getting started first, then dip into the event for the free costume so it does not rot in an unclaimed mailbox.

Older collabs (Goblin Slayer and others) left costumes in some accounts. They are not in the current shop. Do not wait for a rerun date this wiki cannot promise.
How to play an event without burning out
- Open the event pass / mission list on day one. Note the shop close, not just the battle close.
- Spend event currency on the costume copy or unique mat first, furniture last.
- Use the event stages as stamina sinks if the drop table beats your usual pack. Otherwise finish story packs; they teach team building.
- Do not pity a collab DPS if you are still +0 on Liberta or Teresse. The collab will not plus your buffers for you.
- After the event, strip the event preset back to your real attacker line so Mirror Wars does not surprise you.
